HOW WE QUOTE YOUR INSTALL AT BOOST EV
Here at Boost EV we want to make the quoting process as efficient as the installation itself. We want to make the full process as easy as possible for our customers with no hidden costs or last minute changes. Our promise to you is that we will always give accurate quotations to avoid nasty surprises halfway through your installation. All our quotations are free, firstly we will ask you the relevant details and view the job and then we can come back to you with the final figure, with no obligation to have to accept.
COST OF YOUR CHARGER
At boost EV we are passionate about efficiency. Although every installation can differ and there are many factors which affect the price. For a basic install we would like to give a rough idea which is subject to change. We can install a 7kw smart charger starting from £549 (after OZEV grant subsidiaries). OUR INSTALLATION PROCESS
We design EV charging systems that are suitable for any application. Not only do our designs support your short-term EV installation requirements, but they also support the infrastructure for additional EV requirements in the future.
WE DESIGN YOUR EV SYSTEM…
All of our EV installations are based on a turn-key process being carried out. This includes all civil, electrical supply and charger installation works being completed by BOOST EV to assure a smooth one-stop process from start to finish.
WE INSTALL YOUR EV SYSTEM…
A full testing survey is carried out upon completion of each installation. The survey includes all aspects of the installed system being function checked and electrical safety tested. Certification will be presented to each client for reference.
WE TEST YOUR EV SYSTEM…
After each installation, a full commissioning survey will be carried out to check all related electrical and civil works in accordance with the agreement. Once the client is satisfied, an approval document will be completed.
WE COMMISSION YOUR EV SYSTEM…
Each BOOST EV design and installation has the option for a future-proof control panel to be installed. This provides the required infrastructure to install your EV charging requirements for now and the future.

A quick breakdown
The office for zero emissions offers a grant scheme as an incentive to get your new charger. This grant on a timescale though as it ends 31st march 2022. If you are eligible for the grant you can reduce the cost of your install by £350 for a home charger and up to £14,000 for a business.
The homecharge scheme(EVHS) is made to help residential homeowners fund the installation of a charge point at home.
To qualify for the grant you must meet the criteria of:
-Off street parking (e.g a garage or driveway)
-Installed by an OZEV approved installer, such as Boost EV
-A charger using smart technology

-It must be your first charger claimed for the vehicle and you can can claim for up to two eligible vehicles kept at the household.
